Course Description

Finstock Evarsity Kiswahili Lugha Course is a 1-month certificate online course offered and examined by Finstock Evarsity. A certificate of completion is issued upon completion of the course.

Swahili is a Bantu language, and has been influenced by a variety of other languages, including Arabic, Portuguese and German.  It is also spoken in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, Southern Arabian countries such as Yemen and Oman, as well as other parts of the world. Finstock Evarsity Kiswahili Lugha Course is a beginner course in Swahili. It will introduce you to common phrases and give you a broad introduction to the language. Our online lessons are tailored to help you learn Swahili effectively. We focus on building Swahili vocabulary and teaching the proper pronunciation of Swahili.

This course will not only help you learn how to speak Swahili, but will also teach you how to read it. We will go from constructing basic phrases to complex sentences. By the end of the course students will not only be able to have a basic conversation, but will also have set the foundation for deeper studies in Swahili. You will learn greetings, common phrases, and expressions; among other aspects of the language.

The student will be able to communicate and discuss basic personal history, leisure time activities, work situations and use Swahili for day-to-day activities such as visiting the market, interacting with locals and being able to express yourself well. Essential skills such as asking and answering simple questions will be mastered.

What is the Entry Requirement for the Kiswahili Lugha Course?

To enroll and study the Kiswahili Lugha Course, a student should have a minimum of D Minus (D-) in their KCSE exams or a High School Certification.
