As your dreadlocks grow, you should retighten them every few weeks to keep them neat and tidy. You can do this by using a special comb designed for retightening dreadlocks. Start at the root and gently brush through the locks. Be sure to be gentle as to not disrupt the shape of the dreadlocks. Once you have retightened the dreadlocks, you should use a light wax to help maintain the shape and keep them from becoming tangled.
