The paper, Elements of Public Finance and Administration Level two deals with the management of government resources and the provision of public services. The elements of public finance and administration can be broadly categorized into four areas: Public Budgeting which refers to the process of developing and implementing a government’s budget, which includes the allocation of resources for public programs, services, and infrastructure. Public Expenditure Management, it involves managing government spending in a way that ensures efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability.
Public Revenue Management: This involves managing government revenues, including tax collection and other sources of income, in a way that maximizes revenue collection while minimizing distortions in the economy. Public Service Delivery: This refers to the provision of public services, such as health care, education, infrastructure, and social services. The effective management of public finance and administration is critical for the success of any government in meeting the needs of its citizens and promoting economic growth and development.
