Peter is an accomplished businessman, industrialist and entrepreneur. He has a proved track record of starting and growing businesses, in addition to devising strategies to survive hostile business and highly competitive environments. His unique experiences and contribution in the society has earned him international recognition and national awards including a HSC status.

Previous and current leadership assignments include being the Chief Executive Officer of Softa Bottling Company Limited. Others include;

He also has overseas work experience including that of being a quality controller for Watties Canneries (New Zealand), production supervisor for Tatura Milk Products (Australia),  production supervisor for Myojo Food Industries. He has also worked briefly in Hongkong, Singapore, Germany and England.

He holds multiple academic qualifications. He went to Kagumo Primary, proceeded to  Kagumo Secondary School for his O levels, proceeded to Kenyatta College for his A levels. He acquired his Bachelor’s in Technology (Food Technology) from Massey University, New Zealand, and his Executive Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Management University of Africa (MUA). He is currently finalizing a PhD in Leadership and Management from Open University of Tanzania.

He is a professional member of the Institute of Science and Technology (UK), associate member of Institute of Science and Technology (Kenya), professional member of the Institute of Science and Technology (New Zealand). Professional business memberships include KEPSA (Kenya Private Sector Alliance), KAM (Kenya Association of Manufactures), Member of Government Task Force in Maize Value Chain, Chairman KNFFA (Kenya National Food Fortification Alliance) Ministry of Health and Chairman MRA (Muthaiga Residents Association) Membership

Marketing Director, Finstock Evarsity USA LLC

A commercial executive with over 20 years work experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Governance from both public and private sector. He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer at Institute of internal auditors, Kenya. Prior to joining the institute, he was the Business Development Manager at Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in charge of Kenya and Rwanda and also served at Kenya Power & Lighting Company as a Marketing & Customer Relations officer, Triton Petroleum Company as a Territory Manager and Caltex Oil (K) Ltd as a Station Operations Manager.

He holds an MBA in Corporate Management from KCA University, BSC in statistics from University of Nairobi and a Post graduate diploma in Sales & Marketing Management from the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) – UK. He has attended and participated in many other professional training programs both locally and internationally.

He is affiliated to a number of professional bodies by being a member which are Marketing Society of Kenya, Kenya institute of Management, Institute of internal auditors-Kenya and Institute of Directors -Kenya.

He has additionally been a volunteer judge for the various MSK coordinated trade fairs for the last 10 years and also formerly served at Kenya institute of Management as a chair in their Branch advisory Board committee.

John is an experienced economic and business consultant and has wide experience in economic, accounting, auditing and business management issues. Currently pursuing a PhD in Economics (University of Nairobi), and a PhD in Finance (Open University of Tanzania-OUT), he has a Master of Arts in Economics (University of Nairobi), a Bachelors Degree of Commerce (Finance Option-University of Nairobi), a CPA (K) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).  He has extensive experience in research softwares such as SPSS, STATA and EVIEWS. His work experience spans across sectors such as hospitality, banking, logistics and business consulting. He has previously worked a senior accountant (Hilton Hotel), Senior Auditor (Imperial Bank) and Head of the Internal Audit Department (SDV Transami Ltd).

Patrick has background in finance and operations with key and  special focus in businesses transformation. His recent and current passion is transformation of  family owned businesses. As a strategic advisor, Patrick and his team have been instrumental in  the strategic transformation of some leading businesses in Kenya. Powered by his skillful  leadership and team oversight, some of the businesses have significantly grown their top line  performance over a period of time as well as returning impressive cashflows. During his career,  he has been a key influencer in the transformation journey of several organizations. Patrick and  his team are currently managing the transformation journey of several businesses in Kenya whose  combined estimated turnover runs into billions of Kenya shillings.

Previous leadership assignments include; Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Certified  Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) a leading professional and regulatory body in East Kenya, Director Private Sector, Enablers and Competitiveness at the National Economic and Social  Council of Kenya a Government of Kenya top advisory body and think tank, Finance and  Administration Director at Postbank the largest Government savings bank in Kenya, Finance and  Administration Manager at Housing Finance Bank the leading mortgage house in Kenya, Chief  Finance Officer at The Aga Khan Hospital the largest healthcare network in East Africa and has  also worked in Financial Accounting and Operations Management in various companies.  

Patrick is a holder of multiple academic qualifications including; PhD(Economics), PhD(Business  Administration), MA(Economics), MBA(Strategic Management) and B.Ed(Hons). He also holds  multiple professional qualifications as a; CPA(K) Certified Public Accountant of Kenya,  CHRP(K)  Certified Human Resource Professional of Kenya, CPS(K) Certified Public Secretary  of Kenya, CIFA(K) Certified Investment and Financial Analyst of Kenya and CIPS(UK) Chartered  Procurement and Supply Professional of UK. Mr. Joshua Oiro is an expert in ICT with strong project management, capacity building and team leadership with over 12 years of experience in the ICT4D in the international Development & humanitarian fields. He has vast knowledge in team leadership, Grants management, recruitment, human resource management/ administration in NGO, public and private entities. He is an associate member of the Kenya Institute of management (KIM) and trained in leadership & management in Healthcare (University of Washington). Mr. Oiro has led several curriculum reviews in the ICT field including KASNEB, Mount Kenya University, MUA and The Kenya Institute of Management.

Mr. Oiro has extensive project leadership knowledge having worked as a project director, Chief of party and Deputy chief of party for the USG-CDC funded Kenya Health Management Information systems project from 2010 to 2018. He currently serves as the director, Easy global Ltd, Digital Applications Consultant at the UN –ITU agency and as an independent lead Electronic Medical Records Project Consultant at the International Rescue Committee in Nairobi. He has undertaken numerous consultancies in Project Management Trainings, M&E systems design and a host of trainings in Total quality management (TQM), Data analysis, ICT governance and strategic management.

Areas of expertise include project management, grants management, Monitoring and Evaluation stakeholders' engagement and representation. He is an exceptional and talented team development, coaching and mentorship expert. Technically - savvy with outstanding skills in relationship building, Negotiation and communication skills. I am very proficient in English and Swahili - speaking and writing.
