Requirements
-For appointment to this position, the applicant must have: -
- 1.A relevant Master’s degree from a recognized University;
- 2.A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences from a recognized University;
- 3.A relevant certificate in basic investigation and crime detection;
- 4.Membership to relevant professional body with Good Standing;
- 5.Attended a Course in Strategic Leadership and Development or its equivalent; and,
- 6.Meets the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution
- Work Experience:
- 1.Minimum Fifteen (15) Years relevant work experience;
- 2.At least Five (5) Years at Senior Management Level; and
- 3.Prior experience working on Complaints Management systems and Investigations will be added advantage. Core Competencies:

Duties and Responsibilities
-This is the highest grade in the cadre. Duties and responsibilities will include:
- 1.Coordination of complaints management processes
- 2.Ensuring prompt investigations on complaints to facilitate effective decision making;
- 3.Coordinate processing of complaints
- petitions received by the Commission;
- 4.Maintaining proper and up-to-date data on complaints filed and processed;
- 5.Managing the Complaints Management Information System;
- 6.Developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies to sustain valuable stakeholder relationships;
- 7.Identifying complaints arising from gaps in law, policy or procedures that require action by JSC or other agencies;
- 8.Developing guidelines
- standard operation procedures (SOPs) for complaints and investigations;
- 9.Development of complaints and investigations trend reports;
- 10.Advisory to the Commission and management on complaints management; and
- 11.Supervision of staff and management of Directorates financial resources.

- •Recommendation from relevant professional body, as the case may be, as being in Good Standing.
