MARKETING EXECUTIVES -2 POSITIONS

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Officer shall be responsible for the marketing and business development activities while ensuring that services & products proposition are in line with customers’ preferences and market realities.

Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of all SACCO business development activities at the branch level in liaison with the Branch managers.
• Managing all Demand creation and marketing execution activities for the SACCO and within branch marketing function.
• Manage, coordinate and plan all SACCO marketing activities at the branch level.
• Co-coordinating marketing and promotional campaigns at the branch level.
• Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies;
• Support the marketing manager in overseeing the department’s operations;
• Organize and attend marketing activities or events to raise the Sacco’s brand awareness;
• Liaise with the Marketing Manager to plan advertising and promotional campaigns for the Sacco’s products and services;
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities for the Sacco’s promotion and growth;
• Preparing content for social media updates and share with Marketing Manager for release
• Execute communication to members;
• Recruitment of new members and customers
• Activation of dormant members and members with zero balance
• Selling of Sacco products to members ensuring uptake of new products and services.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Administration, Public relations, Entrepreneurship or its equivalent
• A minimum of two (2) years of practical experience in marketing in the service industry.
• Experience in Digital Marketing is an added advantage
• Ability to travel to target counties; Driving skills is mandatory
