- Ensure app development is in line with requirements from Architecture
- Plan long term app development in terms of maintenance
- Identify potential issues in new and existing features of application
- Accept or reject code changes in general, on MR level not just method, class, component
- Mentor other developers, resolve their issues which prevents them to do their job
- Keep business updated about technical changes which have to be done in order to provide good quality product
- Discuss with business future requirements, deadlines etc.
- Onboard new developers
- Identify and fix issues with pipeline
- Inform business about potential delays in development/deployments
Candidate Requirements
- Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken forms)
- BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
- 6+ years of experience of software engineering (as PHP Developer)
- 2+ years of experience in tech lead role
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Experience in object-oriented programming and understanding of SOLID principles
- Ready to mentor junior & regular PHP Developers
- Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements
- Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
- Empower the staff to be accountable and responsible for their own actions and decisions
- Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
- PHP – Advanced level implementation skill with PHP 7.0 and above
- Laravel – Advanced level working experience and understanding of Laravel framework
- Lumen – Advanced level working experience and understanding of Lumen framework
- Database technologies – PostgreSQL or MySQL
- You are familiar with the Scrum and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, AWS
- Proactive, problem-solver, self-driven
Good to have
- Being familiar with Test Driven Development
- Experience in React or Java
