Job Description
New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited is the leading Dairy Company in the Country re-known for its world class brands that include KCC Butter, Ghee, Gold Crown, Safariland, Mala, La Yoghurt, Gold Crown and KCC Fresh among others.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and result driven persons to fill the following vacant positions:
Salesman/Saleslady -NKCC/HR.1157/SM/SL/18/05/2022
Job purpose
To ensure the products are always available in the market and customers’ orders are sufficiently serviced
Duties and responsibilities
- Receiving stocks at the distribution
- Verifying stocks as well as loading products on and off the distribution vehicles
- Distributing products to outlets and invoicing the customers
- Collection of crates from the outlets
- Processing of the sales order for the next day
- Reconciliation of records for the day
- Prepare route sales reports
- Prospecting for new clients
- Liaising with the Sales Representatives to improve on market expansion and debt collection
Qualifications and personal specifications
- Diploma in any of the following disciplines (sales & marketing, Business administration) or its equivalent from a recognized institution
- Bachelor’s degree in (sales & marketing, Business administration) or its equivalent from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales and marketing
- Proficiency in computer applications; SAP is an added advantage
