STUDIO TECHNICAL OPERATOR

Royal media services  Limited wishes to recruit a suitably qualified individual to the position of a Studio Technical Operator. He/She will be required to the headof studio operations

Key roles& responsibilities

• Operating Studio and OB equipment to ensure quality sound and video in studio production, live and outside broadcast
• Provide adaily report of events& recommend ways of improvements of supervisors
• Vision mixing
• Lighting the studio properly
• Ensuring all cameras and lighting equipment within thestudios  are correctly aligned and composing  appealing and creative camera shot
• Sending faulty equipments to thework shop for repair general  maintenance and cleanliness of equipment
• Handling TV play out systems
• Taking good care of studio equipment

Academic professional/work experience

• Atleast a Diploma in Media Technology or relevant fieldfrom recognized institution
• Atleast one year relevant experience in Lighting Sound Camera and vision mixer operations in a busy media house

Essential Competeness

• Excellent written and spoken English and Kiswahili
• Knowledge of the luo language will be an added advantage
• Ability to communication clearly
• Keenness and alertness
• Ability to make sound decision
• Ability to think and judge accurately
