Diploma examinations
A person seeking to be registered as a student for any of the diploma examinations must show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with an aggregate average of at least grade C- (C minus) or its equivalent.
- Such other certificates and other higher qualifications from recognized institutions as may be approved by Kasneb.
- Completed and passed ATD level 1.

Course Description
Course Overview
Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD) course level 2 is a KASNEB diploma course that is the second part of the ATD course. It covers four papers. These four papers include:
Paper No. 5 Financial Accounting
Paper No. 6 Principles of Management
Paper No. 7 Business Mathematics and Statistics
Paper No. 8 Principles of Taxation
Finstock Evarsity College offers a 6month online program examined by Finstock Evarsity College. A certificate is issued upon completion of the course. This program aims at preparing you for the ATD exams prepared externally by KASNEB. After passing the KASNEB exams you will be able to get a ATD certification.
The course imparts knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to;
- Prepare financial and management accounts.
- Prepare financial statements for small and medium sized enterprises.
- Compute basic taxes for a business.
What is the minimum required grade required to do ATD level 2?
For you to enroll for the course you should show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with an aggregate average of at least grade C- (C minus) or its equivalent.
- Such other certificates and other higher qualifications from recognized institutions as may be approved by Kasneb.
- Completed and passed ATD level 1.
Mode of Delivery
Finstock Evarsity College offers you an online platform to ease your studies. A student is provided with Home and/or office-based media employing a variety of self-instructional electronic and online self-study materials, such as; written self-instructional study modules, self-tests, cloud-based content, videos of lectures mediated technical learning materials e.g., audiovisual and e-learning materials. We also offer an optional online meeting via zoom and google meet when you need clarification as you study. If the student has questions, they may also contact their lecturer on the platform. Therefore, study time as well as duration is flexible and fits into the student’s convenience.

Things to note
The ATD examination set by KASNEB is held twice yearly in June and December.
The examination is divided into 3 levels. A candidate must pass the lower level before ascending to the next level. Pass ATD level 2 before proceeding to level 3.

Q3. When can I sit for the exams?
- Internal exams are activated for students individually.
- External exams (where applicable) are booked one month after you complete the course.

Q4: Is this college accredited/approved?
Yes. The college is approved under the ministry of education, through TVETA, and also through National Industrial Training Authority (NITA).
