A person seeking to be registered as a student for Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS) qualification must show evidence of being a holder of the following minimum qualifications:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with an aggregate average of at least grade D+ (D Plus) or its equivalent.

Course Description
Course Overview
Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS) course is a KASNEB certificate course that has two levels. The first level covers four papers while the second level covers three papers. These is a total of seven papers. These papers include:

Finstock Evarsity College offers a 8month online program examined by Finstock Evarsity College. A certificate is issued upon completion of the course. This program aims at preparing you for the CAMS exams prepared externally by KASNEB which are administered primarily on a computer-based platform. After passing the KASNEB exams you will be able to get a CAMS certification.
The course imparts knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to;
- Prepare basic accounts for a small enterprise or non-complex environment.
- Prepare financial statements for a small enterprise or non-complex environment.
- Apply basic management and marketing skills in business.
What is the minimum required grade required to do CAMS?
For you to enroll for the course you should show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications:
- The minimum entry requirement is KCSE mean grade D or a vocational certificate.
Mode of Delivery

A student is provided with Home and/or office-based media employing a variety of self-instructional electronic and online self-study materials, such as; written self-instructional study modules, self-tests, cloud-based content, videos of lectures mediated technical learning materials e.g., audiovisual and e-learning materials. - Internal exams are activated for students individually.
- External exams (where applicable) are booked one month after you complete the course.
