Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA) Level 1 is part of KASNEB diploma DCNSA course that consists of 3 levels. DCNSA Level 1 covers four papers. These four papers include:

Paper No. 1-Introduction to Computing Systems
Paper No. 2-Communication Skills and Ethics
Paper No. 3-Information Systems Support and Integration
Paper No. 4-Computer Information Systems Application

Finstock Evarsity College offers a 12month online program with internal exams administered by Finstock Evarsity College. A certificate is issued upon completion of the course. This program aims at preparing you for the DCNSA exams prepared externally by KASNEB. After passing the KASNEB exams you will be able to get a DCNSA certification.

Design networks.

Configure networks.

Test and secure networks.

Manage non-complex networks.

What is the minimum required grade required to do DCNSA Level 1?

For you to enroll for the course you should show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications:

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination with an aggregate average of at least grade C- (C minus) or its equivalent.
Such other certificates and other qualifications from recognized institutions as may be approved by kasneb.

Requirements

Entry requirements

The minimum entry for the diploma courses is KCSE Mean grade C-. Persons with certificate

and other higher qualifications from recognized institutions are also eligible for entry.

Practical requirements

The cost of practicals, internships or industrial requirements is KES 30,000 ($ 300) and only applies to courses that require practicals.

I enjoyed taking the Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration course. The lessons were clear, practical, and easy to follow, even for someone balancing work and study. This course turned out to be one of the best investments I’ve made in my career. The content focused a lot on hands-on networking and system setup, which made it easy to apply what I learned in real work situations.
