The Certificate in Montessori education (CME) Course offered at Finstock Evarsity College is an 8 month online program examined by Finstock Evarsity College. A certificate of completion is issued upon completion of the course
This course gives students a broad overview of the philosophy and pedagogy of early childhood development and its application to teaching methodology. This includes the Montessori philosophy and presentation of materials in areas such as practical life, sensorial mathematics, language, geography, history, science, and arts. The programme is comprised of one year class work and one year of a field attachment, after which many of our students go on to be hired as regular teachers in these host schools depending on their performance and the impact they make during the time of their attachment.
What is the minimum grade required to do a certificate in Montessori education?
In order to enroll and study in certificate in Montessori education, a student should have a minimum of D- in their KCSE exams.

Home and/or office-based media employing a variety of self-instructional electronic and online self-study materials, such as; written self-instructional study modules, online interactive devices and self-tests, cloud-based content, videos of lectures mediated technical learning materials e.g., audiovisual and e-learning materials
