Graphic Design is a course that explores graphic communication through the understanding of the elements and principles of design; as well as, the design process, from idea development through the final execution of a document. It create visual concepts to communicate information and also create everything from posters and billboards to packaging, logos and marketing materials.

- An understanding of design history, theory, and criticism from a variety of perspectives, including those of art history, linguistics, communication and information theory, technology, and the social and cultural use of design objects.
