2. Avoid distractions while studying.

Distractions from televisions, mobile phones among others may influence to lose concentration while studying. The learning environment should be conducive for the learner free from these distractions. Studying in a room with minimal or no background noises will enable a student concentrate well therefore maximize their time of study.

3. Take notes while in class and when revising.

Taking notes will enable a student to be able to recall what was previously taught or read. Going through the notes before attempting an assignment will equip the student with the necessary guidelines to complete it successively.

4. Join a study group.

Studying in a group may be more enjoyable compared to one being in a quiet room alone. Group study makes it easier to tackle different problems as different perspectives are shared. Explaining the various concepts enables the student to comprehend more and retain the information.

5. Eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly and get enough sleep.

Eating a balanced diet promotes development of healthy cells in the body.  Regular exercise ensure that oxygen flows through the brain enabling development of cells thus making it easier to acquire and store new information. Resting after the routine activities of the day ensures the body cells are rejuvenated and energy restored.
