Description
Veterinary Microbiology introduces learners to the study of microorganisms that affect animal health, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. The unit covers the characteristics, transmission, diagnosis, and control of microbial diseases in animals. Learners will develop an understanding of laboratory techniques used in the identification and investigation of infectious agents. Upon completion, students will be able to apply microbiological knowledge in disease prevention, diagnosis, and animal health management.
