Course Overview
Certified Credit Professionals (CCP) course Part 1 Section II is a KASNEB professional course that is part of the foundation level of the CCP course. It covers three papers. These three papers include:
Paper No. 4. Credit Risk Management
Paper No. 5 Principles of Accounting
Paper No. 6 Business Environment
Finstock Evarsity College offers a 6month online program examined by Finstock Evarsity College. A certificate is issued upon completion of the course. This program aims at preparing you for the CCP exams prepared externally by KASNEB. After passing the KASNEB exams you will be able to get a CCP certification.
This course imparts knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to, among other competencies such as:
- Manage the credit cycle for trade credit providers
- Manage credit risk for different entities
- Undertake credit analysis for various corporate entities
- Undertake debt collection in a professional manner
- Comply with various requirements in debt management including governance, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements.
What is the minimum required grade required to do CCP Part 1 Section II?
For you to enroll for the course you should show evidence of being a holder of one of the following minimum qualifications:

Mode of Delivery
Finstock Evarsity College offers you an online platform to ease your studies. A student is provided with Home and/or office-based media employing a variety of self-instructional electronic and online self-study materials, such as; written self-instructional study modules, self-tests, cloud-based content, videos of lectures mediated technical learning materials e.g., audiovisual and e-learning materials. We also offer an optional online meeting via zoom and google meet when you need clarification as you study. If the student has questions, they may also contact their lecturer on the platform. Therefore, study time as well as duration is flexible and fits into the student’s convenience.

Things to note
Holders of specific degrees and diplomas that are recognized and listed on the KASNEB website (kasneb.or.ke) may be exempted from this section for example Diploma in business graduates are exempted from the foundation level papers. One should register and apply for these exemptions on the KASNEB website.
Candidates will not be allowed to skip any paper. You cannot do a higher paper if you have not completed a lower one or have not been exempted from a lower one. For example you cannot do paper 2 if you have not completed paper 1.
The CCP examination set by KASNEB is held twice yearly in June and December.
The examination is divided into 3 parts of two sections each. A candidate may attempt two sections in a part together or separately before proceeding to the next part. For example part 1 section I and II
A candidate must pass the lower part before ascending to the next part. Pass CCP part 1 before proceeding to part 2
