BUSINESS ANALYST / DATA ANALYST

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Analyst / Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be the crucial link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business challenges into data-driven solutions . You will leverage your analytical skills to interpret data, build insightful dashboards, and identify opportunities for process improvement that drive high-impact business decisions .

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze complex datasets from multiple sources using SQL and Python to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business growth .

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Product, Operations, Brand Partnerships) to understand their business needs, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and gather requirements for new data products or process improvements .

• Visualization & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and track business performance .

• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains within existing business workflows. Develop and implement solutions to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting .

• Requirements Lifecycle Management: Document business and system requirements, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure that the final technical solutions align with business objectives and regulatory needs .

• Data Governance: Uphold data integrity and quality standards by validating data, documenting data flows, and adhering to data governance frameworks .

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field .

• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Intelligence role. Senior roles require 8+ years of relevant experience .

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation .

  • Strong experience with a programming language like Python (using Pandas, NumPy) or PySpark for data processing .

  • Expertise in at least one BI/Visualization tool, preferably Tableau or Power BI .

  • Advanced skills in Excel .

  • (Preferred) Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, or cloud data platforms .

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills .

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences .

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and quality .

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders .

Other Relevant Information:

• Medical Tests: Medical screenings are not typically a prerequisite for analyst roles. However, they may be required upon successful hiring, especially for positions within government agencies (like NEA or MOH) or the healthcare sector .
