CAR PARKING ATTENDANT / VALET

We are seeking a courteous, professional, and reliable Valet Parking Attendant to provide an exceptional first and last impression for our guests. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient parking and retrieval of guest vehicles while delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Greet all hotel guests and visitors promptly and professionally upon arrival at the valet stand.

2. Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in designated hotel parking areas, adhering to all traffic and safety protocols.

3. Issue and collect valet claim tickets, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

4. Perform quick visual inspections of vehicles to note any pre-existing damage and report it immediately.

5. Assist guests with luggage, directions, and basic inquiries, providing a seamless hospitality experience.

6. Maintain the cleanliness, order, and safety of the valet driveway, podium, and parking areas.

7. Handle cash and card transactions for valet services responsibly and accurately.

8. Uphold the highest standards of personal grooming and uniform presentation.

9. Work effectively in a team and communicate any issues, incidents, or guest concerns to the supervisor on duty.

10. Work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the operation.

Person Specification / Requirements:

• KCSE Certificate or equivalent.

• Minimum of 6 months of proven experience as a valet, driver, or in a customer service role.

• Valid Kenyan Driving License (Class BCE) and an International Driving Permit (IDP).

• Excellent defensive driving skills with a clean record.

• Strong command of spoken English (Arabic is a significant advantage).

• Physically fit to stand, walk, and drive continuously for extended periods.

• Honest, punctual, and possessing a presentable, professional demeanor.

• Must pass a mandatory pre-employment and UAE visa medical test.
