Job Description
To serve the community by providing compassionate, holistic, and accessible medical care in a rural/semi-urban mission setting, with a focus on maternal and child health, infectious diseases, and chronic care management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the general outpatient clinic, providing diagnosis, treatment, and appropriate referral for a wide range of conditions.

Run specialized antenatal care (ANC) and postnatal care (PNC) clinics, conduct normal deliveries, and manage obstetric emergencies in collaboration with the midwifery team.

Provide integrated management of childhood illnesses (IMCI), including immunization services and nutritional assessment.

Lead the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients in the HIV/TB clinic under national program guidelines.

Participate in inpatient ward rounds, manage admitted patients, and perform daily reviews.

Conduct minor surgical procedures in the theatre and assist in major surgeries as required.

Maintain accurate patient records in both Kiswahili and English as per hospital and Tanzanian government standards.

Participate in community health outreach programs, health education, and vaccination campaigns.

Supervise and mentor nursing students, clinical officer interns, and other junior staff.
Mandatory Requirements:

Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a KMTC or equivalent recognized institution.

Current, valid practicing license from the Clinical Officers Council (COC) of Kenya.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on clinical experience post-internship, with exposure to maternity, paediatric, and HIV/TB care.

Proven ability to work in a low-resource setting with minimal supervision.

Fluency in English and working proficiency in Kiswahili (verbal and written) is ESSENTIAL.

Willingness to undergo registration with the Tanzania Medical Council.

Package Offered:

Monthly Salary: TZS 3,000,000 - TZS 3,800,000 (depending on experience).
