Job Description
We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operators for major infrastructure and construction projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of excavators, loaders, and other heavy machinery, adhering to the highest standards of precision and site safety protocols.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment (primarily hydraulic excavators and wheel loaders) safely and productively according to project plans and foreman instructions.

Perform pre-start, post-start, and shut-down equipment checks, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.

Execute tasks including excavation, trenching, backfilling, loading trucks, grading, and material handling.

Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, and basic blueprints. Experience with GPS grade control systems is an advantage.

Conduct basic routine maintenance and lubrication of equipment.

Strictly adhere to all company and site-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate daily activity and equipment log sheets.

Work collaboratively in a team environment, often in extreme outdoor temperatures.
Mandatory Requirements:
-
Minimum 5 years of documented, verifiable experience operating 20-ton+ excavators and loaders on large-scale construction, mining, or earthworks projects.

Valid Kenyan Driving License (Class BCE).

Valid National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) Certificate / Grade Test for Heavy Equipment Operation.

Trade Test Certificate from a recognized institution.

Police Clearance Certificate (Certificate of Good Conduct) issued within the last 6 months.

Medical Fitness Certificate: Must pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical test (including Chest X-ray, HIV, Hepatitis, and drug screening) at an approved clinic.

Valid Passport (with at least 2 years remaining).

Excellent safety record and a strong team player attitude.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience in Middle East/GCC projects.

Additional certifications in First Aid, CPR, or any international safety course.

Ability to mentor and guide junior operators.
