Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Human Resources (HR) Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be a key partner to the business, managing essential HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Objectives of this Role:

  • Maintain, develop, and implement HR processes and procedures, ensuring proper documentation and data integrity within HR systems .

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide practical, integrated HR solutions that align with organizational goals.

  • Contribute to a positive employee experience by managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding and policy implementation.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout all human resource management practices by monitoring and implementing applicable labor laws and regulations .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Coordinate the full recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and managing the new-hire orientation process to ensure a smooth welcome for all new employees .

  • Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, compensation, benefits, and workplace issues. Support conflict resolution and foster a positive work environment .

  • HR Operations & Compliance: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR files in accordance with internal policies and legal requirements. Support payroll processing by providing necessary employee data and ensuring compliance with employment laws .

  • Performance Management: Support the performance management process by assisting with performance appraisals, providing feedback mechanisms, and supporting managers in employee development planning .

  • Policy & Strategy Implementation: Assist in developing, revising, and communicating HR policies and procedures. Participate in HR initiatives and projects related to process improvement, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion .

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is required .

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of proven working experience in an HR role, such as HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or Recruitment Coordinator .

  • Core Skills:

    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the company .

    • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills .

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently .

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) .

  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices is highly preferred .

  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of the local language (e.g., Japanese, German) is a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous):

  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent .

  • Experience with specific HR software like PeopleSoft .

  • Experience in a specific industry, such as government, tech, or logistics, depending on the employer.
