MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST / TECHNOLOGIST

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our accredited hospital team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of routine and specialized diagnostic tests with precision, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety to support patient care.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform accurate and timely clinical laboratory tests in areas such as Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, and Immunology.

2. Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory instruments and equipment.

3. Adhere to strict Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO 15189).

4. Prepare reagents, standards, and controls as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

5. Analyze test results, validate data, and generate clear, accurate patient reports.

6. Ensure proper specimen handling, identification, and storage.

7. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in compliance with biohazard and infection control policies.

8. Participate in internal and external proficiency testing programs.

9. Train and supervise junior lab staff as required.

10. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all laboratory activities.

Mandatory Requirements:

• A valid and current Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB) practicing license.

• Pre-Employment Medical Fitness Certificate: Must include clearances for HIV, Hepatitis B & C, Tuberculosis (Chest X-ray), and Blood Group from a government-approved facility.

• Passport valid for at least two more years.

• Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia and work according to the assigned schedule.
