TEACHER / EDUCATOR

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our dynamic, multicultural team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality international curriculum to students from diverse cultural backgrounds, fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to holistic education, promoting not only academic excellence but also students' personal and social development .

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Learning: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans in line with the school's adopted curriculum (e.g., IB, IGCSE). Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities .

• Assessment & Reporting: Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations. Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain open communication with parents regarding academic progress and behavior .

• Classroom Management: Create a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment that is conducive to learning and celebrates cultural diversity. Implement the school's behavior code effectively .

• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with local and other international colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units, share best practices, and contribute to curriculum development .

• Extracurricular Involvement: Actively participate in the school's extracurricular programme, which may include coaching sports, leading clubs, or accompanying school trips and expeditions .

• Pastoral Care: For some roles, take on the responsibilities of a form tutor, supporting the well-being and social development of a small group of students .

• Professional Development: Participate in staff training, meetings, and professional development workshops to continuously improve teaching practice .

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant subject area. A Master's Degree is an advantage .

• Certification: Valid teaching certification/license from your home country is required. For English positions, a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification may be required or preferred .

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting or with a curriculum like IB or IGCSE .

• Language Skills: Native or near-native proficiency in English. Knowledge of an additional language is an asset .

• Other: Cultural sensitivity, adaptability, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to use educational technology .
